Sustainable Building Certificate
From CEF (Construction Education Foundation) the certificate for creating and improving building sustainibiityly by learning about improving energy efficiency though foresry, framing, water and plumbing, electrical and IOT, HVAC, Insulation, xeriscape and irrigation and infrastructure. The virtual classes are funded by a Colrado state grant and are a pre-apprenticeship certicate training (PACT)
Straw Bale Construction Planning Workshop
On April 22 and 23 we took part in Strawbale.com's 2-Day Straw Bale Design Workshop taught by Timbo Scursso. We would highly recommend the workshop and services by Strawbale.com in working with homeowners and builders on what it takes to have success in their project.

Corrie Home took part in the Construction Careers Now (CCN) four week course in early 2020. The program, presented by the Associated General Contractors of Colorado & Colorado Contractors Association, prepares students to begin a career in construction with no experience is needed to enter the program. Valued at $1,500 per participant, the curriculum includes an introduction to variety of skilled trades and career paths, a OSHA 10 Safety Card, Basic Construction Measurements, Building Technique, Contractor Presentations as well as Resumes, Interviewing Skills, Career Coaching.

On September 15-21, 2019 Coorie Home took part in Andrew Morrison's (StrawBale.com) seven-day hands-on in situ Workshop to rebuild a home destroyed by a wildfire.
